UkeOut April 2020 at the Green Parrot Canceled Due to COVID-19 — Online Uke Lessons Available
The next UkeOut at the Green Parrot has been canceled for April 2020 due to COVID-19. Wayne is offering online ukulele lessons via FaceTime, Skype and Zoom in the meantime.
Hi friends. I hope everyone is staying safe by staying in during the COVID-19 virus outbreak.
Unfortunately the next UkeOut at the Green Parrot — and all UkeOut jam sessions and ukulele open mic nights — is canceled for April 2020 and until further notice. Please check back.
I find myself playing a ton of ukulele and guitar during all of this. I sure am missing people, contact and hugs. I hope to see you all in person at the Green Parrot ukulele open mic night as soon as this virus passes through and it's safe to gather together once again.
In the meantime, if you already play ukulele or are just starting out and would like beginner to advanced ukulele lessons — including slide or bass uke — please get in touch with me personally or through my store. I'm offering live 1-on-1 Skype, Zoom and FaceTime lesson spots now.
Ukulele Size & Tuning Quick Reference:
- Soprano, Concert, Tenor: all tuned gCEA (standard)
- Baritone: tuned DGBE (like the top 4 strings of a guitar)
- Bass Uke: tuned EADG (same as bass guitar)
The Concert size is the world's most commonly played — with its smaller brother the Soprano coming in second.
