Nicky holds on dearly to his heeling scarf that people prayed with then sent to him THANK YOU.
While wearing it he thinks of all the people’s faces he remembers from church and around town in kW & NEPA and he says he can actually feel its positive energy. It actually helps heal him. No doubt about it.
A few Sundays ago I’m sitting in Miami Children’s Hospital standing next to Nicky while he lay in bed after chemo and my hair is standing up on my arms and back of neck & everytime I walked by Nicky. It was like static electricity but not the same. Hard to describe. But then I checked my phone later and realized over a hundred messages and emails and texts were being sent to our family at that exact time. When I realized that it was the fact that churches were calling to say they were all praying that morning for Nicky, with his picture on the big screens in churches everywhere not just key west and NEPA, and then got more message from different people and churches all saying the same thing. They were all thinking and praying for us at the sane time. I swear I almost fainted when I realized it was everyone’s prayers that I was physically feeling when I stood next to Nicky. Omg let me say how wonderful a feeling to watch his color come back, and wake up and say- dad – I think I feel better now!
His treatments, prayers, caring, sharing of resources, LOVE and positivity are working!
NIcholas is “Kicking Cancer’s Butt, One Block at a Time”
We are going to Miami Children’s Hospital for a two month stretch of some cancer ass woopin’ butt kicking chemotherapy, tons of prayers, lots of love and a couple superheroes waiting to lend a hand!!!!!!

Happy Father’s Day to my dad Quint Sorbelli & my granddad Paul Sechevich “Bonzo” keep rocking on, moving forward, and blessing UP!
Ironically this is the BEST Father’s Day so far for me as a dad. A second chance at my son’s life beats the living crap out of a new coffee cup or sweatshirt, lawnmower, drill or even sports car or yarch! – any day!! I have NEVER been so grateful in my life. My family is so surrounded with love and prayers and positive vibes that I can feel it in my heart, soull, spine, tingling on the back of the neck AND the hair on my arms stands up. We are glowing with hope and gratitude. Thanks for all the best dad day ever!!!
Nicky Sorbelli 10th BDay party in Key West with family and a few friends before heading off to Miami Children’s Hospital for a two month stretch of some cancer ass woopin’ butt kicking chemotherapy, tons of prayers, lots of love and a couple superheroes waiting to lend a hand!!!!!!
To HELP Nicky Sorbelli my 9yr old son whom we just discovered has T Lymphoblastic Lymphoma (cancer) & we badly need everyone to HELP & PRAY & SHARE.
So far, he is responding well to treatment. Treatment plan for now is Thurs – Saturday in Miami children’s hospital every week for next seven months. Then once a month for three years. So it’s going to be a long strange trip.

A million zillion thanx from my son Nicky and the rest of the Sorbelli Quint Sorbelli familyfor really showing what a family IS.
The power of focused wishes and prayers are so awesome during this time of needing strength !! I also need to say thank u to my extra special wife Jamie Jamie Maniskas Sorbelli and daughter Leela for all supporting each other in this time. !!! And thank you Nicky for being the best son brother and friend in the world. Really!!
Nicky said “dad let’s go catch a few snapper for later tonight and nanny can cook them (my mom is in town staying with us to help us through).
I admit, nothing beats a little father-son time next to the water with a fishing pole in hand, after a weekly trip to Miami for his chemotherapy.
There is something so basic, soooo human, just so natural about hearing a child say “daddy I’m hungry, let’s go catch some food” – its the EXACT opposite world it seems from the technology driven beeping sterile sound of the Miami chemotherapy treatment center. Total YIN and YANG. And right now. We need both YIN and YANG to keep the positive healing ball rolling forward.
